Community Action Stops Abuse (CASA)
Founded in 1977, CASA is the official 501c3 domestic violence center based in Pinellas County, FL.
We operate the area’s 24-hour hotline and emergency shelter; non-residential programs, such as support groups, economic empowerment and legal advocacy; Child Protective Investigative Team support; community and corporate training; and the CASA Peacemakers anti-bullying and healthy relationship school curriculum.
*Position Title: *Human Resource/Office Administrator
*Location:* Marion County
*Reports to:* Director, Human Resources
*Major Function: *Responsible for administering Human Resource programs and daily office duties in accordance with CASA policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
*Job Duties:*
· Assists with recruitment process by posting job openings and supporting the hiring managers through candidate selection process.
· Provides offer letters and necessary documentation to selected candidates for hire.
· Submits local and level 2 background checks and ensures all compliance requirements are followed with selected candidates for hire.
· Onboards and provides orientation for new hires.
· Ensures new hire E-verify is submitted and approved.
· Deploys necessary office equipment, phone set up, email and other related needs for new hires.
· Creates and maintains employee records in HRMS (Paycor) in a timely manner to ensure employee information is ready for payroll and HR processing.
This includes new hires, terminations and active employee record changes.
· Maintains employee HR files and ensures security and confidentiality of such records.
· Notifies employees when benefits are available for enrollment and supports annual open enrollment process.
· Assists with processing of terminations.
· Assists with the preparation and follow up of the annual performance review process.
· Ensures employees completion of mandatory training upon hire and annually thereafter.
Records and maintains records in accordance with compliance requirements.
· Responsible for recording workplace injuries and submitting required documentation to workers compensation carrier for processing.
· Routes incoming invoices to Accounts Payable.
· Sorts and routes mail to proper recipients.
· Makes bank deposits as needed.
· Orders and distributes supply needs for center.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

· Attends and participates in ongoing training.
· Agrees to work a flexible schedule if needed.
· Understand and abide by all CASA’s Policies and Procedures.
· Completes special projects as assigned.
· All employees of CASA are considered “essential” and as such may be required to be available to remain onsite and/or required to assist during emergencies and other critical times.
*Qualifications:*
· Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum of 6 months experience working in a non-profit environment.
· At least two years of office administrative experience required.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Possess a valid Florida Driver’s license and proof of auto insurance coverage.
· Agree to participate in background checks upon offer of employment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.
00 - $50,000.
