Assistant Infant Teacher

We are looking for highly motivated *Assistant Preschool Teachers* for our *infant *classroom.
An assistant must have a great love and patience for children.
Prior experience is not required, but is a plus.
An Assistant Teacher's *role in the classroom* includes: * Collaborating with and taking instruction from the Lead Teacher * Employing a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.
) to teach children * Observing each child to help them improve their fine and gross motor skills * Supervising children to ensure they are safe at all times * Performing diaper changes & assisting with bottle feeding * Maintaining a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards Required *skills* include: * Passion for childcare and education * Willingness to take instruction and/or constructive feedback * Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods * Familiarity with age-appropriate practices * Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms * Excellent communication and instructional skills * Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable If selected to move forward with the hiring process, *you will be contacted by email*.
