Responsibilities:
Oversee and assist with vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash receptacles, and other cleaning duties for resident apartments, offices, bathrooms, and other common areas in the community
Assist in cleaning of occupied residences and common areas
Assist with cleaning and refurbishing of vacated residences in a timely manner
Schedule and implement deep cleaning procedures
Oversee and assist with laundry
Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment
Interview and select new associates
Schedule and train housekeeping staff
Generate reports as needed
Listen to and respond to resident problems, complaints, and suggestions regarding housekeeping
Skills/Requirements:
2 years of work experience in a hospitality environment (hotel, country club, or resort)
6 months supervisory experience
Great organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and other associates in English
Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals, as well as being exposed to chemical fumes, dust, and pet dander
Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
Occasionally required to lift and/or move 30 pounds
