Driver

Driver Operate a delivery truck in a safe, efficient manner to deliver products between Townley facilities in Candler and Ocala.
Essential Functions: Transport various products and parts between: Rubber, Fabrication, Foundry, Plastics, TIP, Cypress, and other areas as needed Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use Inspect vehicle and arrange for vehicle repairs as needed Keep mileage records and repair records up-to-date Must follow all traffic laws such as; speed limits, wear seat belt, use indicator signals etc.
Load and unload truck Customer service with the employees at the sites Follows safety regulations and company guidelines Provide customer service to employees at the Townley facilities Checks that load safely and properly stacked and loaded Comply with company policies and legal guidelines This is not a complete list Requirements; additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Required Experience: Valid driver’s license and CDL or ability to acquire CDL within 30 days of accepting the role Ability to clear the company Motor Vehicle Record check Time management and organizational skills to keep track of deliveries and stay on schedule Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients Physical Demands and Work Environment: Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces; including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products.
Must be able to stand, sit, and bend for long periods of time.
Must be able to climb up and down multiple times throughout shift.
Good upper body strength to lift heavy luggage, packages and objects, as well as be able to load and unload them from the vehicle.
Work Environment: Manufacturing environment: loud noise levels, high temperatures, dirt and sand.
Required PPE: steel-toed shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, dust masks, and/or respirators.
