Medical Courier/Independent Contractor

Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Courier.
As a Courier, you will be responsible for transporting packages and documents to their designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.
This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities: - Safely drive your own vehicle to deliver packages and documents to various locations - Load and unload packages from the vehicle using proper lifting techniques - Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery - Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner - Use GPS or maps to navigate unfamiliar areas - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks - Handle paperwork, such as delivery receipts and invoices, accurately and efficiently Requirements: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Previous experience as a courier or in a similar role preferred - Familiarity with route driving and navigating using GPS or maps - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
