I have one opening, looking for the right candidate to operate and run this truck like an owner operator.
Must be a self starter, and possess critical thinking skills.
Lease purchase option is available, I will mentor the right candidate if needed.
Applicant must be able to operate a manual transmission, and possess light mechanical abilities.
Ability to trip plan, self dispatch, and maintain truck is required.
Truck is leased to major carrier, and applicant will have to pass the hiring requirements to operate the truck.
Income and home time will be dependent on applicant's abilities, and desires to make as much, and go home when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on trucks and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a truck driver
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment and manual transmission vehicles
- Strong knowledge of route driving and delivery procedures
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong communication skills and ability to work
