Job Summary:
Gary Yeomans Ford Ocala is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced individual to join our team as a Human Resources/Payroll professional.
This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of the human resources and payroll functions for our dealership in Ocala, Florida.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of payroll processing for dealership employees, including maintaining accurate records, verifying employee time and attendance, and calculating and disbursing paychecks
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and regulations, including filing payroll taxes and completing required reports
- Handle employee inquiries and resolve any payroll-related issues in a timely manner
- Manage all new hire paperwork and onboarding process, including conducting orientation and training
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, benefits, and performance evaluations
- Lead recruitment efforts by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations
- Plan and coordinate employee development and training programs
- Manage employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Oversee performance management and disciplinary procedures
- Collaborate with management to address any employee relations issues
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding company policies, procedures, and benefits
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in labor laws and regulations
- Conduct exit interviews and provide recommendations for improvement
- Complete other human resources duties and projects as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Human Resources, Business Administration Degree is a plus
- 2-3 years of experience in human resources and payroll
- Knowledge of federal and state payroll and labor laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience in the automotive industry a plus
