Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Supervisor to join our team.
As a Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our research and clinical laboratories.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of laboratory procedures, managing projects, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Duties:
- Supervise laboratory staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Oversee laboratory operations and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP)
- Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure accurate and reliable test results
- Collaborate with research and development teams to support ongoing projects and clinical trials
- Maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed
- Monitor inventory levels of laboratory supplies and place orders when necessary
- Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and protocols in the laboratory
- Review and analyze laboratory data, prepare reports, and present findings to management or clients
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques such as DNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, etc.
- Experience working in both research development and clinical laboratory settings
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines such as GLP and CGMP
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Leadership abilities to supervise and motivate laboratory staff
