I've spent the last few years off and n on searching for my perfect Papillion baby.
I have two Papillion mix puppies (1boy and 1 girl) that I absolutely adore, but am determined to find a little pure Papillion fluff to add to my fold.
I know they are out there, but most of them are out of my price range! I know there's someone out there who knows someone, who know something, about someone else who might know something, who knows someone else who has one.
And if you know of someone who knows someone that has one, then I would like to be the one that someone chooses to find a home for their baby.
It's not all about money, but I have enough for him or her to have a very comfortable life and good vetting.
I just can't come up with the upfront cost to get one.
I'm getting older, a senior in years.
Help me make my bucket list dream come true.
If I had a Papillon, Would she chase the leaves, or sleep? Would she steal my slipper gone, While pretending just to peep? If I had a little miss or Mister, With silky ears so grand, Would she give Papa a kiss, And rule the house as planned? If she sat upon my favorIsite chair, Would she let me sit as well? Or stare me down with royal flair, As if to say, “See my lofty tail!” If her tail-flag waved in the air, With it's feathery silk delight, Could I pretend I didn’t care, As she plotted her next surprise? Imagine her, a tiny queen, With a crown of fur, so pristine.
Each command, a tiny squeak, Her kingdom ruled by paws so chic.
If she barked at passing trees, Would I laugh or feign a scold? Every antic aimed to please, In a world where squeaks never get old! If I had a Papillon, A comic at her core, Life’s a stage she’d prance upon, And her audience adore.
So here’s a cheer for dreams so sweet, Of a puppy with butterfly ears and fluffy feet.
May she come, with joy to deal, In each playful, laughing peal.
This prayer goes out to the universe and that somehow, someway, a silky, feathery little friend will find her way to our home and make her place here with friends till the end.
