We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our property management team.
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing and managing all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
This is a vital role in our organization, and we are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a high level of accuracy.
Minimum of 3 years related work experience.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies
- Review vendor invoices for proper coding, approval, and documentation
- Prepare and process weekly check runs or electronic payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any payment-related inquiries or issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures,
Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in account reconciliation and general ledger accounting
- Experience using accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with owners, vendors, and management –
- Assist with incoming telephone calls.
