Parts Counter Person

*Palm Chevrolet is looking for an Automotive Parts Counter Person with General Motors parts experience.
* We are seeking a dedicated & detail oriented individual to join our growing team.
Experience working at an automotive dealership is ideal.
*Automotive Parts Counter Responsibilities* * Work with customers and technicians to identify required parts * Advise customers on necessary and related parts needed * Look up parts using electronic parts catalog system * Input parts pricing on counter invoices and repair orders * Handle phone calls and orders with customers and vendors * Help with dealership parts ordering, inventory and returns * Follow Privacy and Information Safeguards rules and procedures * Maintain a clean work area and help with general housekeeping * Other duties may also be assigned *Requirements* * Experienced counter positions need at least 1 year of dealership parts experience * Proficient in email and basic computer skills – Reynolds experience is a big plus * High school diploma or equivalent * Must take direction well and follow through entire task * Must be able to perform other duties when assigned.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record * Some heavy lifting is required.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30,000.
00 - $70,000.
