*Position:*
The Quality Control Inspector/Technician will work with our Production Team to ensure we are manufacturing the highest quality concrete products.
*Essential Duties:*
For your initial training you will be required to climb a ladder to gain access to trailers loaded with manufactured concrete components to inspect for accurate measurements using a tape measure.
You will be able to tolerate working in an outside environment.
After the initial training period you will begin studying to achieve concrete certifications.
You will also perform the following tasks:
* Tests concrete samples to determine proper density.
* Ensures measurements of manufactured products, steel checks, form alignment, and concrete placement.
* Monitors product strength and determines necessary corrective actions.
* Inspects various FDOT precast/pre-stress products.
* Communicates findings with supervisor for corrections.
* Document measurements and verify calculations.
* Attends continuing education to maintain certifications.
* Ensures compliance with FDOT requirements.
* Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor.
*Willingness to attain at least one of the following certifications within 120 days, with company paid training:*
* ACI (Concrete Field Technician 1)
* CTQP (Concrete Field Technician Specification)
* PCI Level 1 and Level 2
* FDOT 450 Specification
Must be able to read tape measurement accurately (test given during interview), familiar with Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel, ability to communicate corrective measures effectively, ability to read blueprints and able to pass certification tests.
Other requirements include the ability to lift push and pull 60 pounds, work full shifts Monday-Friday or Saturday as required, able to climb and not afraid of heights.

*Work Environment:*
This is an outdoor facility-not climate controlled.
Must be comfortable with working outdoors under varied weather conditions to include heat and humidity.
Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving heavy equipment/machinery, and loud noise.
The work schedule could start as early as 4 AM.
