Our production jobs are all full time and overtime is usually available, this is a stable job! This position is a contract to hire after 90 days of good performance, it could be extended.
*Duties:*
You will be performing maintenance and repair duties relating to vehicles used in operating a concrete manufacturing plant.
· Work in the field performing preventative maintenance and general servicing on semi-tractor trailers and trucks
· Perform oil and filter changes on trucks and highway vehicles
· Grease and lube work
· Maintain, troubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engines
· Perform truck tire work
· Trailer work
· Greasing machines (fuel filter priming and restarting diesel engines
Must be able to work varying hours and work emergencies as needed.
A valid driver's license and good driving record are required
Other duties as assigned.
Familiar with OSHA regulations.
Proficient with the English language.
Two-three years vehicle maintenance experience is required, having some of your own tools is a plus.
These duties will include making repairs to yard vehicles, trucks and semi tractor trailers.
You may be required to stand, crouch, kneel, bend climb, stoop, use repetitive hand and arm motion for long periods of time.
Your resume must include details regarding your hands on experience in the field of auto mechanics.

*Work Environment:*
This is an outdoor facility-not climate controlled.
Must be comfortable with working outdoors under varied weather conditions to include heat and humidity.
Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving heavy equipment/machinery, and loud noise.
Must have prior experience working outdoors in the heat for long hours.
Construction experience is a plus.
