*\*No Calls or Walk-Ins\** *Position Summary* Responsible for effectively selling preventive maintenance agreements, new generator and accessories, rental equipment, and turnkey generator sales and replacements for the industrial, commercial, and medical markets in an assigned territory to achieve maximum sales profitability and growth.
The Outside Sales Rep must be able to commute to the Ocala office 1-2 times per week.
*Essential Job Functions* * Sell generator maintenance and service contracts, new generator and accessories and turnkey generator projects in a designated territory.
* Generate new customer accounts as well as service and maintain existing accounts.
Analyze customer needs and determine how company products and services can best meet their needs * Achieve sales goals and forecasts, as established by the department and the organization * Establish, maintain, and develop business, social and networking relationships with individuals within the power generation industry.
* Prepare quotes and proposals for customers and professionally present proposals to plant engineers, maintenance personnel, purchasing agents, estimators, and others.
* Plan and organize sales strategy * Follow up on sales leads and make cold calls on the phone and face to face * Assist in marketing and sale of new products and/or services to the existing marketplace * Review completed jobs for variations in component costing * Monitors sales orders to ensure project costs, materials lists, and delivery schedules meet project specifications and deadlines * Compute installation or production costs and prepare and submit bid specifications to existing and potential customers for review Negotiate proposals and sales and service contracts with customers * Resolve customer problems, issues, or complaints in a timely manner * Provide Management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, market situations, competitive activities, and potential for new products/services * Conduct all business transactions in an ethical manner * Travel throughout assigned territory *Position Qualifications* * Four plus years prior outside sales experience in the industrial market or hands on technical background in the power generation field.
* Knowledge in the power generation market is a plus.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills * Some computer skills are required, including a working knowledge of applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel * Ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result * Must be able to handle high pressure situations and adapt well to changes in the marketplace * Ability to travel throughout assigned geographic territory to meet with customers * Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals * Ability to effectively present information publicly * Ability to effectively build relationships with customers, vendors and co-workers * The trait of being dependable and trustworthy * Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of one’s ability using his or her own drive or initiative *Benefits* The Company offers a comprehensive employee benefits program, including: * 100% employer paid Health, Dental, Vision Insurance, eligible after 60 days.

00 - $70,000.
00 per year plus commission, depending on previous experience.
