*Duties and Responsibilities:*
*Pre-Construction Planning:*
· Collaborate with project managers and estimators to provide input during the pre-construction phase, helping to assess project feasibility and logistics.
*Staff Management:*
· Recruit, hire, and train field staff, ensuring they have the necessary qualifications.
· Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback for career development.
*Resource Allocation:*
· Manage labor, materials, and equipment allocation to optimize project efficiency.
· Coordinate with Estimating to source high-quality glass and glazing materials.
*Scheduling and Time Management:*
· Develop detailed project schedules, including task sequences and critical milestones.
· Monitor progress against schedules and implement adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
*Cost Control:*
· Collaborate with the project management team to develop and monitor project budgets.
· Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering solutions.
*Regulatory Compliance:*
· Stay up-to-date with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
· Ensure all work on job sites adheres to these regulations.
*Risk Management:*
· Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
· Handle any unexpected issues or emergencies that may arise during construction.
*Quality Assurance:*
· Implement and maintain a quality control program to verify that all glass and glazing work meets project specifications and industry standards.
· Perform regular quality inspections.
*Client Relations:*
· Foster strong relationships with clients and architects to enhance the company's reputation and secure future projects.
· Address escalated client concerns and provide solutions promptly.
*Technology Integration:*
· Utilize construction management software and technology to streamline project documentation, communication, and reporting.
*Qualifications and Skills:*
· Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
· At least 10 years of experience in glass and glazing, including hands-on installation experience.
At least 5 years of leadership experience.
· Proven track record in managing and successfully completing medium to large-scale glazing projects.
· Strong knowledge of glass types, glazing systems, and curtain walls.
· Familiarity with AutoCAD, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and other design and construction software.
· Relevant certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR, and Glazier Certification are a plus.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to address unexpected challenges.
· Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
· Effective communication and negotiation abilities for client and stakeholder interactions.
· A strong commitment to safety, quality, and sustainable construction practices.
· Experience with construction management software including Procore.

Pay: $75,000.
