This includes managing the powder coating line, overseeing the work of team members, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
*Supervision and Leadership:* * Lead and supervise a team of powder coating technicians and operators.
* Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team members meet performance standards * Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
*Process Management:* * Oversee the entire powder coating process, from preparation to curing * Ensure that powder coating equipment is properly set up and maintained * Monitor and adjust process parameters to meet quality and production targets.
*Quality Control:* * Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the consistency and quality of powder coating finishes * Conduct regular inspections of coated products to identify and address defects * Collaborate with the quality control team to resolve any quality issues.
*Safety Compliance:* * Enforce and promote a culture of safety within the powder coating line * Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and training sessions * Ensure that all team members follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment.
*Inventory Management:* * Manage inventory levels of powder coatings, consumables, and other supplies.
* Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of materials.
*Equipment Maintenance:* * Collaborate with maintenance staff to schedule and perform regular equipment maintenance * Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs as needed.
*Documentation and Reporting:* * Maintain accurate records of production volumes, quality metrics, and equipment maintenance.

*Qualifications:* * High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
* Proven experience in powder coating operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
* Strong knowledge of powder coating processes, equipment, and materials.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
