Title Cable/Mechanical Assembler Categories Laborers and Helpers Location Crystal River Department Production Employment Type Full Time Shift/Hours Mon – Fri; 7am – 3:30pm; OT as needed Date Posted 2022-03-01 Description Cable/Mechanical Assembler The Cable/Mechanical Assembler will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on wire/cable harnesses and electronic assemblies in a manufacturing environment.
Worker may perform a full range of tasks, which may consist of the following: Assembly and hand placement of wires/cables or components into assemblies Experience with multiple hand and/or power tools to strip, cut, measure wire/cable for assemblies Must be able to read and interpret drawings, prints and assembly processes.
Work from diagrams and drawings following company written work instructions and procedure manuals to ensure quality of assemblies exceed customer specifications The successful candidate should possess the ability and attitude to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
The position involves prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing with strong attention to detail.
Must be reliable and dependable for scheduled shifts and assist as needed within all production positions/locations.
Cable and wire harness assembly preferred.
Hand soldering a plus Sibex is an EEO employer.
