At MAPEI as an Experienced Process Operator you may be tasked in the roles as a Machine Operator, Batchmaker, Blender, Compounder, Pre-Weigher or Material Transfer Specialist.
In all of these critical roles you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be involved in many aspects of the production operations.
You will be responsible to assist in various production areas to ensure quality production in a safe and efficient manner with the ultimate goal of producing high quality products and an on-time delivery for MAPEI’s customers.
Total hourly payrate up to $19.
50 (commensurate with experience) plus premium shift differential: $1.
00 p/hr for 2nd shift and $2.
00 p/hr for 3rd shift.
We are currently hiring for 1st shift (5:00 pm to 1:30 pm)
The role
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment, including automatic and manual machines, hand tools and equipment
Prepare, blend and package ingredients for internal use or sale.
Maintain accurate written and electronic records as required by specific tasks.
Transfer raw material or finished products within the facility.
Use computers and some manual measuring devices, including but not limited to: digital/manual scales, pumps, hand scoops, buckets, bags, supersacks.
Prepare packaging materials, applying labels to containers, stack, and palletize products.
Operate various types of warehouse equipment, as needed; industrial lift trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.
Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you should be willing to get your hands dirty a bit.
Must be mechanically inclined and have experience in a manufacturing or process type of environment.
Forklift experience/certification is a plus.
You must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
Demonstrate proficient oral and written communication skills.
Have the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

You must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
