Manufacturing Engineer

*Role: Manufacturing Engineer* *Client: DOD-Aerospace* *Location: Orlando, FL* *Duration: 9-month * *Hourly Rate: $45-50/hr (W2, non-benefited)* *You must be a US Citizen to apply.
* *Position Description:* * Designs manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies * Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions * Specifies the sequence of operations for the fabrication of tools, equipment, and other functions impacting product performance * Incorporates inspection and test requirements into the production plan * Inspects the performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency * Initiates corrective action for identified problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality * Develops manufacturing processes for cables, wire harnesses, and electronics assemblies * Provides guidance to engineering on design concepts and specification requirements for optimal utilization of equipment and manufacturing techniques * Ensures compliance of processes and procedures with regulations *Required Skills* * Cable Manufacturing Experience * Harness Manufacturing Experience * Lean Manufacturing Experience *Desired Skills* * Circuit Card Experience is a desirable skill * Experience In the defense/aerospace industry *Required Experience & Education:* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 3 years of professional experience is required.
