operates two cattle harvest and fabrication facilities along with a ground beef plant that produces a variety of beef products, distributed globally.

*Position Summary*
This position will unload cattle and humanely corral them into pens for holding until harvest.
The pens will need to be maintained to ensure security and cleanliness.
If you enjoy working with livestock, we need you to join our round-up.
*Responsibilities*
* Use approved driving devices and live animal scale to facilitate unloading of animals.
* Weigh and record all incoming and outgoing cattle and weights.
* Use approved driving device to move cattle from pen to pen, or pen to knock tub/chute.
* Use approved driving device to move cattle from chute into the knock box.
* Use skid loader, tractor, and paper shredder to clean and re-bed pens.

*Qualifications*
* Must be 18 years of age or older.
* Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
* Must be able to perform the job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
* Ability to work extended scheduled hours Monday through Friday and occasionally Saturday with daily overtime.
Must be able to work overtime as required.
Start times and hours vary based on production needs.
* Must be able to work in the cold/hot for long periods of time.
* Experience using humane animal handling techniques.
* Must have experience with cattle handling and behavior.
* Must be able to effectively communicate in English or Spanish (speak, read, and write).
* Must be able to successfully complete training:
* Safety
* Safe Quality Food (SQF)
* Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
* SafetySafe Quality Food (SQF).
* Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
* Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP).

*Physical Demand*
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools or controls.
The employee frequently is required to talk and hear.
Based on the position an employee is occasionally required to stand for an extended period of time; walk; reach above shoulders; and stoop, kneel, bend, twist or crouch.
The employee must occasionally be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Personal Protective Equipment will be required.
The types of PPE used can include hair nets, safety shoes, hardhats, gloves, arm protection, hearing protection and safety glasses.
Other protective equipment may also be necessary based on the specific task.

*Working Environment*
* Maneuvering parts, equipment, and livestock that weigh up to 150 lbs.
* Working in extreme temperatures and inclement weather conditions.
* Walking on slippery or uneven terrain.

* Working with and around hazardous machinery that is extremely loud.
* Handling and working with unpredictable livestock that can cause serious injury.
