Solidworks 3-D Product Designer

Our work environment is: * Fast paced * Collaborative * Casual dress This position will work with the product design team and requires extensive experience and high proficiency with Solid Works software.
You will be assigned to projects for existing concept designs, some of which have proof of concept prototypes.
You will refine these designs into ready for market production products.
A strong mechanical aptitude and extensive knowledge of mechanical components and is required.
The ability to create solid models and surface modeling is also required.
Previous product development is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities: * Evaluate product designs for function, durability and manufacturability.
* Create and implement the product improvements.
* Value engineer the product for optimal cost to value.
* Optimize product packaging for ease of assembly and best container yield.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $78,000.
00 - $90,000.
