Golf Cart Mechanic

*Position: Technician* *Job Description:* The Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Sunshine State Golf Carts Ocala equipment.
The Technician will work with the Customer Service team to ensure that the equipment is installed correctly and efficiently.
The Technician will also be responsible for documenting any issues that arise during installation or use of the equipment.
*Core Responsibilities & Duties:* ·Installation of Sunshine State Golf Carts Ocala equipment in accordance with customer orders and company policies.
·Document and maintain accurate documentation of installations and equipment usage.
·Maintain clean and safe working environment.
·Maintain positive relationships with non-installation team members, customers and other company employees.
·Work with the Purchasing department to ensure that all orders are placed and fulfilled in a timely manner.
·Work as a member of the Installation Team on any special projects required.
·Work as a member of the Purchasing department on special projects required.
·Other duties as assigned.
Provides a thorough evaluation of golf carts that need repair and documenting all findings.
* Conducts maintenance and repairs on golf carts.
* Replaces parts on golf carts.
* Effectively communicates status updates to management regarding active work orders.
* Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
* Performs related work as required * Experience with Electric Carts * Experience with Gas Carts * *Qualifications:* ·High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent experience of (3) three to (5) five years with an emphasis on electrical, repair preferred.
·Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment (i.
e.
, a shop environment, customer service, manufacturing or other related industry).
PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE LEVEL Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.
