Construction Project Manager

*Job Descriptions:* *Essential Job Responsibilities:* Perform project/construction management for a Restoration / General Contracting firm.
Most projects are heavily related to the general contracting infrastructure supporting client's environments.
Projects will include client meetings, project planning and layout, equipment package buyouts, subcontracting on-site management and project closeouts.
*Primary Job Duties:* Prepare scope of work and sub contracts Prepare customer proposals Manage multiple projects in various stage of activities Prepare and monitor project budgets Participate in engineering process to control cost and client budget requirements of project Develop project schedule and monitor/update as project progresses Provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of installation superintendents and trades people Provide specific expertise for problem solving Provide technical evaluation of subcontractor and equipment proposals.
Monitor and inspect construction to ensure compliance with design documents.
Coordinate completion of construction activities.
Prepare punch list to ensure the readiness of systems for turnover to the client.
*Required Experience:* 2-5 years’ experience in construction project management Excellent understanding of commercial and residential construction systems Read scopes and blue prints Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Knowledge of construction policies and procedures, with field experience a plus.
Xactimate experience a must.
Understanding of the telecommunication, data processing operations very helpful.
Restoration experience a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.
