KCI is seeking an entry level professional to help us meet the growing demand of development contractors and industrial facilities that need assistance tackling environmental issues.
Our core business focuses on helping clients with stormwater management and protecting water bodies.
*What will You do* You are a talented, hard-working, and team oriented individual.
You are a professional and a self-starter who is not afraid to take responsibility.
You will represent the KCI brand by performing valuable Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) site inspections on active construction sites and industrial facilities throughout Central Florida.
You will communicate and collaborate with client site supervisors and project managers regularly.
You will be responsible for documentation of site conditions, preparation of inspection reports, and assisting with development of SWPPPs.
Your role is primarily field work with some office work.
*Your work Environment* You are a conscientious, diplomatic, and detail-oriented person who also loves working outdoors.
You are expected to be physically able to walk long distances daily over a variety of terrain, during various weather conditions.
You are a professional Environmental Consultant who actively travels daily to visit clients’ job sites and routinely use standard office equipment such as tablets, smart phones, printers, etc.

*Physical Demands of Your job* There are physical demands that must be met by you to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing your duties, you will be required regularly to talk, hear, drive, and walk.
You will also be required to stand and use hands and arms to effectively use tools to adequately perform your role.
Your job role will require you to wear standard PPE, i.
e.
hard hats, safety vest, work boots, safety glasses/goggles.
*Your Minimum Qualifications* · Minimum of Graduation from high school or equivalent.
· 3 years of professional work experience.
· State of Florida certificate of training for erosion control or ability to obtain the certificate within 90 days of hire.
· Proficient in Microsoft office (primarily Excel, Word, and Outlook) and google maps.
· Candidate will also need to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
· Ability to work independent and follow through on projects assigned.
· Keen sense of direction and ability to navigate to new locations using GPS technology.
· Excellent driving record.
· Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen *Our Desired Qualifications* · 3+ years of experience working in construction or industrial field.
· Residential and/or Commercial Construction experience with stormwater management during active construction and knowledge of common BMPs.
· Experience with regulatory/permitting requirements and/or field inspections.
· The ideal candidate will have experience reading design plans and have familiarity with site construction.
· OSHA experience and/or certifications.
· Preferred Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Biology, Geology, Soil Science or a related discipline is preferred.
*Position Type/Expected Hours of Work* The hours for this position is 30 to 40 hours.
This position does require weekends and holidays as needed.
A flexible schedule is required.
*Travel* This position does require driving on a daily basis.
A valid Florida motor vehicle operator's license is required and good driving record.
KCI does provide a company vehicle to be used after 90 days for work travel.
A fuel reimbursement is given prior to the company vehicle.
