17, 2023 Description:Ocala Operations is a multi-shift manufacturing facility that build circuit cards, wiring harnesses, and electro- assemblies.
The facility currently has over 1200 employees and provides products to six Missiles and Fire Control sites.
Ocala specializes in both low volume high mix and high volume production that has a combination of automated processes as well as labor intensive manufacturing.
Ocala Operations has a represented manufacturing workforce that is supported by a strong engineering and operations support team.
Essential Functions of an Engineering Aide Includes: Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.
Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).
Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data.
Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports.
May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
Basic Qualifications: • Proven experience as an Engineering Technician/ Engineering Aide/ Technical Drafter or similar role with a focus on production layout and design • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, etc.
) for layout design • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to production facilities • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality • This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
