This position leads crews working in the field of traffic signals ITS, lighting and signing.
We are looking for someone who is motivated to work for an established and successful construction company with great benefits, going above and beyond in their position to help the company meet its business goals.
Chinchor Electric, Inc.
is looking for applicants with experience in standing poles and mast arms, installing cable, signal heads, light fixtures, and cabinets.
Successful candidates will be able to take a set of plans and complete a project from start to finish with minimal supervision.
*Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt* *Pay: Hourly, $23+ (potential yearly income $52K to $65K)* *10% differential for night work* *Eligible for possible bonuses* *Must be able to work out-of-town and nights occasionally.
* *Essential Functions & Responsibilities:* · Installation of controller cabinets, mast arms, electrical conductors, traffic signals, light poles/fixtures, signing, cameras and ITS related items.
· Program, maintain, and repair flashing school zone sign controls, CCTV equipment.
· Coordinate with job superintendent and project manager.
· Effectively prioritize and schedule work tasks and assignments to be completed within deadlines.
· Determine required materials and equipment.
· Assist in on-site work duties.
*Education & Experience* · Prior experience installing, repairing, and maintaining traffic signal and ITS electrical system is required.
· IMSA Certification preferred *License & Certifications* · CDL preferred.
· Valid Driver License required.
*Physical Demands* Must be able to perform multiple tasks and can handle the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to, standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, driving, operating equipment, and lifting at least 50lbs.
