12, 2023 Program: Multiple Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) in Ocala, Florida is looking for a Test Engineer Supervisor.
The Lockheed Martin Ocala Operations is a multi-shift manufacturing facility that build circuit cards, wiring harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
The facility currently has over 1400 employees and provides products to six Missiles and Fire Control sites.
We are driven by speed, agility and technical innovation.
Responsibilities include managing production quality, schedule, and cost performance for a Program(s) providing team leadership.
The Test Engineer Supervisor job duties include but are not limited to the following: *Recruitment and staffing of hourly testers and technicians *Developing, maintaining, and administering new hire tester training and remedial training *Reviewing test processes and partnering with cognizant Test Engineers to implement test processes and continued improvements *Ensuring that Ocala Operations programs possess hourly tester support required to execute production testing requirements *Developing rotation plans to improve department agility and eliminate single point failures Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college.
Experience in electrical manufacturing test processes, project planning, presenting to senior leadership, and demonstrated project management skills Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance and therefore must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills: 4+ years experience in an Engineering Discipline.
Experienced production Test Engineer.
Demonstrated leadership characteristics.
Experience participating in talent recruitment and/or development.
Experience functioning as a formal or informal lead responsible for assigning daily work assignments of subordinate or peer engineers.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Familiar with MESCAP, SAP, COTS test equipment, and common test and automation software packages.
Greenbelt certified.
Familiarity with electronic components and common electronic test equipment.
Ability to interpret test requirements and electrical test results.
Ability to conduct detailed failure analysis and develop and implement root cause corrective actions.
Previous experience with programming languages such as C, C++, and National Instrument LabWindows CVI and TestStand is desired.
Ability to manage a team of Test Engineers Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
