Established auto sales lot seeking a Technician/Reconditioner .

Job description includes inbound inspection of vehicles all the way through readying for final sale.
We only sell American and Asian vehicles and generally do not sell European or specialty vehicles, we purposely avoid vehicles that are relatively "difficult to deal with".
All types of repair/reconditioning are involved in our normal daily tasks.
Quite honestly, sometimes we have vehicles requiring brakes, tires, CEL diagnostic, and an oil change and sometimes we have vehicles requiring "heavy" work.
Diagnostic skills are a must, while we provide most diagnostic tools/scanners/subscriptions needed (identifix, etc) candidate will be expected to possess own hand tools, etc.
We currently have two different tool trucks per week visiting our facility.
Work week is 40 hours (More possible if you choose) although it may be possible to consider less in some cases.
NO weekends, no nights.
Beginning time of day, ending time of day, time and duration of lunch hour, can be very flexible.
Great opportunity for someone that is independent and does not like or need to be "Micromanaged".
Simply put: if you do your job well, no one will be watching over you all day!
Dedicated work area, secure tool storage provided.
We are currently upgrading our facility as well.
Our business is structured for two technicians, so occasional help between the two may be required, but for the most part each technician works on an assigned vehicle in their own personal dedicated work space.
Pay will commensurate with experience, diagnostic ability, etc.
I know everyone wants a pay level posted in the job advertisement but the truth is that I want to be able to consider different skill/experience levels as sometimes the right approach to what we do is as or more important than candidates strengths and weaknesses.
We can all learn on a regular basis if we approach life and work correctly!
