The ideal Packaging Tech I is a patient individual that is good with their hands and mentally sharp.
This job does require the mental fortitude to sit or stand in one place all day.
While wearing gloves, the Packaging Tech I must weigh and package the product in preparation for the sale.
Packaging Tech I is primarily responsible for packaging products, labeling, and bin sealing on a production line.
Requirements: 0 to 1 year of experience in a packaging or inventory role Ability to pack 80+ units per hour Ensuring compliance by accurately labeling flower and pre-roll Packaging Adhere to departmental quality control (QC) protocols, including all department SOPs, storage, and disposal of green waste Ensuring compliance with all state regulations, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Upholding a clean and organized staging area during packaging operations Demonstrate the ability to follow detailed instructions and meet timelines for all tasks, while remaining adaptable to evolving business requirements Ensuring the consistent production of high-quality products Passion for the industry and resilience Punctuality Communicate known issues to the management team to ensure a smooth flow of operations within the company Demonstrated the ability to quickly learn and proficiently perform all essential tasks required Accountability and initiative Operating with integrity and honesty Team-oriented and self-motivated Ability to lift 35+ lbs.

Working Environment: Work is performed in a manufacturing environment.
The noise level in the work environment can range from low to high.
Temperatures in the work environment range from cold and dry to warm and humid, respective to the product processes and plant lifecycle.
The work environment requires the use of PPE at all phases, and strict cleaning and cross-contamination protocols.
The product and plants are agriculture goods that have the ability to produce odors that may linger, can penetrate clothing, and heighten senses.
