Assist with the installation, support, and maintenance of network infrastructure systems based on company specifications and standards including National Electrical Code.
Install, label and terminate Ethernet, telephone, security, camera, and similar low voltage communication systems; including fiber optics.
(Cat 5, cat 6, Rg6, RG59, PBX)
Installation and repair of network hardware equipment
Test and troubleshoot problems with existing structure cabling systems
Installs support structures, including cable racks, j-hooks, innerduct, and other related structures (RG6, RG59, & PBX)
Certify lines and termination using specialized, analytical equipment
Conducts thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is working correctly
Repairs penetrations and fireproofs smoke/fire wall penetrations made during installation
Conforms to the organization’s information security policies and appropriate methods of working
Participates in the organization’s HIPAA/Hi-Tech training (Compliance, Whistleblower, FW&A) on an ongoing basis
Performs other duties as deemed fit by the CEO or supervisor
