GWP is hiring Underground Pipe Layer positions.
This work includes installing Water, Sewer mains and services.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN UNDERGROUND UTILITIES.
Must be able to perform all activities associated with installing pipe, fittings, valves structures, and etc.
(Irrigation experience does not meet qualification requirements).
Must be able to make connections to existing pipe, work in trench box, set up lasers and in dewatering situations.
Must have experience in Trench safety practices.
Knowledge and documented experience is required.
References will be checked.

Driver's license preferred as we do not provide transportation.

Must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass an MVR
* Must be able to determine pipe elevation; alignment and grade.
* Must be able to calculate pipe slope, installation elevations, and use equipment to lay pipe on grade with horizontal and vertical accuracy.
* Full range of body motion including handling and operating levers or controls, manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
* Standing, bending for extensive periods of time.
* Must be able to mount and dismount off vehicles and/or equipment.
* Shovel, rake and spread dirt.
* Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
* Miscellaneous labor, site preparation and site clean-up.
* Other duties as assigned.
* Must be able to pass Pre Employment Drug Screen

Pay: $18.
00 - $25.
