We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team and help us ensure the highest standards of quality in all our construction projects.
Job Summary:
The Construction Quality Assurance Specialist will play a crucial role in our team by conducting thorough inspections and assessments of ongoing construction work.
This position is not supervisory but is critical to ensuring all aspects of construction meet our stringent quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, extensive construction experience, and the ability to work independently while providing valuable feedback to improve our processes and final product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily site inspections to assess the quality of work performed by construction crews.
- Use expertise to check alignments, measurements, and the overall quality of materials and workmanship.
- Interpret and understand construction blue prints, specifications, and plans to ensure compliance with all project requirements.
- Utilize tools such as tape measures and levels to verify the accuracy of construction work.
- Identify issues, discrepancies, or deviations from the plan, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with construction teams to communicate quality requirements and ensure understanding and compliance.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports of inspections, findings, and corrective actions taken.
• Participate in project meetings to provide updates on quality assurance activities and findings.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in construction or a related field, with a strong focus on quality assurance or quality control.
• Proficiency in using construction tools and equipment, including tape measures and levels, to conduct accurate quality checks.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and solve problems effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to provide clear and concise feedback.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
