We’re looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team! JOB SUMMARY: This position would be responsible for Simply IOA account management activities include: Client service and communications; directing daily tasks/activities and administrative processes to Team Support; productivity quality and service levels of assigned alpha split/book of business; remarketing of client insurance policies, tracking renewals and past due list, online rating for all lines of insurance, invoicing, accounts receivable monitoring, contract review and round out accounts, and policy review data management/entry; team and individual processional developmental identification for sales and retention opportunities.
Essential Functions: Manages an assigned book of business, meeting all performance requirements regarding production, quality, and service, and ensuring that no liability associated with errors and omissions occur.
Regularly interacts with new and existing clients as needed on moderately to high complex P/L accounts.
Responsible for devising creative and strategic solutions to meet client needs as to coverage and cost.
Actively seeks to grow and retain SimplyIOA business, including identifying and acting on sales opportunities.
Tracks policy expirations for existing clients and works proactively to ensure appropriate actions are taken to facilitate renewals.
Facilitates the management of Expiration and AR reports and manages tasks Participates in new business and policy renewal process in conjunction with Account Executives &/or Ops Team Leader including: Conducting client research and gathering all necessary information to ensure proper coverage.
Evaluating coverage and pricing.
Generating and presenting proposals.
Binding coverages, including securing signed mandatory forms and applications per SimplyIOA procedures.
Prepare Summary of Insurance.
Completing full policy reviews and processing of endorsements Aged Accounts Receivables, Past Due, and Payments.
Creates and distributes client invoicing for any new business, renewals, or premium bearing transactions, and collects outstanding balances due.
Assists with facilitation of client claims processes as needed.
Develops and maintains positive carrier relationships.
Developing and maintaining positive, productive relationships with SimplyIOA agents, leadership, peers, co-workers, teammates, and employees Monitors Individual performance to ensure productivity, efficiency, quality, and service standards are met Assists with new hire and ongoing training support within team.
Quickly and responsibly alerts Operations Management to any individual or team performance/ professionalism issues, collaborates as needed regarding any corrective actions to be taken, and supports and participates in implementation when requested.
Reviews all policies, identifies discrepancies, and appropriately directs Team Support to make changes as needed.
Maintains frequent, transparent communication with Account Executives &/or Ops Team Leader regarding individual and team client service and policy administration activities, ensuring he/she is fully informed.
Works effectively with Account Executives and management seeking input and developing win-win solutions to any operations-related process, service, quality, or productivity issues.
Maintains frequent and transparent communication regarding individual performance and activities with supervisor, and seeks, accepts, and implements performance coaching.
Encourages and participates in ongoing growth and professional development of all operations personnel within team.
Actively promotes SimplyIOA culture and a positive work environment at all times, including participation in team building and other activities.
Complies with all company work rules, standards, and policies and procedures at all times.
Maintains high degree of technical competence and industry/market expertise.
Acts as back up for teammates as needed, covering for others in their absence and ensuring overall team service excellence.
Ensures professional skills are continuously improved by actively participating in internal/external development opportunities.
Maintains agency management system to ensure accuracy of data.
Monitors and maintains pending action items, taking any necessary action to ensure completion within required time frames.
Will be required to maintain Continuing Education credits to maintain active status level of insurance licensure.
Performs other duties as assigned.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: General office support/administration when requested or assigned Back-up for teammates as needed, covering for others in their absence and ensuring overall team service excellence Participates in training, mentoring, and ongoing professional development of administrative and customer service teams and/or new hires Ensures professional skills are continuously improved by actively participating in internal/external development opportunities Lifting and carrying large equipment/boxes over 25 lbs.
